Introduction

My name is Matt. I’ve struggled with obesity in my whole life. I’m currently 19 years old. When I was 14, I weighed 94 kg (more than 200 pounds) and I realised it’s time to change. I bought gym membership and started working out. I fell in love with this sport, and a year later I only weighed 83 kgs, and gained a lot of muscle.
Somehow, it’s now all gone. I lost interest and started slacking off. Things started to go downhill. I’m currently 113 kgs with 30,4% bodyfat. I have back pains, ankle pains, my blood pressure is 140/80 and I can’t run 500 m without stopping or walking. But I decided to start all over again. I learned from my mistakes, so I know I can do it.

 

Here I am now:
Age: 19
Height: 185 cm (6’1”)
Weight: 113 kg
Bodyfat: 28,2%
Blood pressure: 140/80
Resting heart rate: 72
Flexibility: Bad, can’t even touch my toes while standing
Cardio: Bad, can’t even run 500 m without walking

MY GOALS FOR 2015:
-Get down to ~10% bodyfat
-Get six pack abs
-Gain as much muscle as possible
-Get blood pressure down to 120/80
-Get down resting heart rate to ~50
-Work on my flexibility at least 3 time a week
-Go to the gym at least 3 times a week (but rather 4)
-Do cardio 6 times a week
-Eat healthy meals
-Be able to do 50 pushups without resting
-Be able to do 25 pushups without resting

GOALS FOR THE NEXT 3 MONTHS:
-Don’t skip a single gym session
-Do cardio at least 4 times a week (I may not be able to do 6)
-Lose 5 kgs (11 lbs)
-Eat healthy meals with 1 cheat meal every other day
